Creating and Sustaining Change

To say we are in an unprecedented era of change is an understatement. The stress of the pandemic, economic and social changes on our individual lives, our families and the workplace is enormous. We are relearning and questioning how to manage everyday situations, sensitive issues, awkward behaviors, unexpressed and often overlooked feelings and emotions.

How do executives and leaders process all that is going on and implement the actions necessary to continue to move forward? Strategic, intentional and consistent focus on workplace and worker well-being is the starting point. The goal is to increase communication, increase engagement and reduce potential disagreements with solutions that move you forward.

Outlined below are strategies we have implemented with clients for positive and lasting results:
*Provide facilitated group problem-solving sessions (hire a trained facilitator) with employees to hear their pain points and develop shared suggestions to address the pain.
*Co-create solutions that have value for the employees, ones they will continue to rely on.
*Socializing and interpersonal connections are difficult after the isolation of the pandemic. Schedule facilitated sessions on resolving conflict and exploring unspoken agreements.
*Brush up on real-life business protocol and etiquette skills.
*Create culture agreements and scripts to take some of the pressure away and create a collaborative understanding of how you want to move forward.
*Embrace Graciousness as a practical leadership and workplace skill that sustains relationships, results and revenue.
